We collaborate with internationally renowned companies in various sectors such as agri-food , aluminum , mining , asphalt , engineered wood , cement , foundry , metallurgy , recycling , and electrical distribution .

Supporting the plant manager, the Production Technician actively participates in the planning and preparation of manufacturing projects. This hybrid role, balancing office and workshop tasks, allows for direct contribution to the execution of client mandates and the smooth running of production.

Read and interpret technical plans and specifications . Prepare submission and production files .



Create shop drawings using AutoCAD 2D . Validate project compliance with plans and specifications. Prepare laser cutting lists and technical documents.

Communicate via email with clients and suppliers (in English as needed). Ensure sorting and document management of drawings and specifications. Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D (required). Proficiency in the MS Office suite , particularly Excel .

Degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent training. Minimum of 2 years of experience in steel manufacturing or processing. Have a robust command of French and an intermediate level of English (spoken and written); knowledge of English is required, as the position holder must regularly communicate with clients located outside Quebec, notably in Ontario, New Brunswick, and the United States.
