Marketing Assistant (Co-op / Practicum Student)

Iteration Insights is a Microsoft Solutions Partner specializing in data, analytics, AI, and digital transformation. We help organizations unlock value from their data using Microsoft technologies including Fabric, Azure, Power BI, and Copilot.

We're looking for a Marketing Assistant Co-op Student to support our marketing and brand awareness initiatives. This is an excellent prospect for a student interested in digital marketing, content creation, technology, events, and business growth.

What You'll Do

- Assist with content creation for LinkedIn, blogs, newsletters, and marketing campaigns.
- Support social media planning, scheduling, and engagement activities.
- Help manage and update website content.
- Assist with webinar, event, and workshop promotion.
- Conduct market, competitor, and industry research.
- Support lead generation and marketing campaigns.
- Create and update marketing materials, presentations, and promotional assets.
- Track marketing performance metrics and campaign results.
- Help maintain marketing calendars, content plans, and project timelines.
- Contribute ideas to improve brand awareness and audience engagement.

What We're Looking For

- Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, Business Technology Management, Commerce, Digital Business, or a related field.
- Strong written communication and storytelling skills.
- Interest in technology, AI, analytics, and digital transformation.
- Comfortable creating content for professional audiences.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Proficient with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, Word, Excel).




- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Nice to Have

- Experience creating content for LinkedIn, blogs, newsletters, or social media platforms.
- Familiarity with Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud, or other content creation tools.
- Experience with marketing automation or CRM platforms such as HubSpot, Dynamics 365, or Mailchimp.
- Knowledge of SEO, email marketing, social media analytics, or digital advertising.
- Experience coordinating events, student organizations, campaigns, or volunteer initiatives.
- Familiarity with AI tools for content creation, research, or productivity.

Student Work Placement Eligibility This position may be eligible for funding through a Government of Canada supported student work placement program. To be eligible, candidates must generally:

- Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or protected person/refugee.
- Be enrolled in an accredited Canadian college or university.
- Be legally entitled to work in Canada and not be an international student.
- Remain enrolled for the required portion of the placement.
- Have a program of study related to the position.

Funding is subject to approval by the applicable funding agency.
