Marketing / Business Support Role
- Pay Rate: $53.00/hour, depending on experience
- Contract Length: 1 year
- Location: Vancouver, British Columbia (lower mainland)
Description
The Marketing & Business Support Professional in this role, will facilitate complex decision-making, drive business initiatives, and support customer-facing strategies tailored to our commercial, industrial, and large enterprise customers. You will bridge the gap between strategic business analysis and tactical marketing support to help achieve our corporate energy and sustainability goals
Responsibilities
- Strategic Decision Support: Translate complex business insights into actionable options by organizing key data to enable informed decision-making across the organization.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Facilitate alignment across diverse groups of stakeholders using critical thinking and persuasive communication, ensuring projects are implemented as planned.
- Marketing & Campaign Support: Collaborate on marketing campaigns, B2B events, stakeholder meetings, and customer engagement activities to support business development.
- Project & Initiative Coordination: Manage multiple initiatives and competing priorities within 's regulated environment, tracking deliverables from inception to completion.
- Customer & Market Analysis: Conduct comprehensive customer, market, and business analysis to inform product development, account management, and business strategies.
Qualifications
- 8 years of strategic business analysis or equivalent corporate experience.
- Demonstrated experience working in a B2B environment, specifically supporting commercial, industrial, or large enterprise customers.
- Proven track record in project management, managing multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
- Robust background in supporting marketing campaigns, business products,
and account management activities.
- Exceptional organizational skills with a proactive, self-starter approach to problem-solving and driving work to completion.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and experience utilizing CRM platforms or customer databases.
- Strong communication and business acumen, with a talent for preparing reports, briefings, and executive-level presentations.
- Nice-to-Haves
- Prior knowledge or experience working within the energy, utilities, sustainability, energy management, or regulated industry sectors.
- Formal training or certifications in project management.
- Experience preparing executive summaries and tailored presentations for diverse audiences.
- Education and Certifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, Project Management, Communications, Finance, Engineering, or a related discipline.
Additional Information
- Candidates must be able to attend the office as required for onboarding, stakeholder meetings, and business activities. Flexibility for work from home may be available based on business needs.
- Every contractor must supply their own Windows 11 Laptop computer for the duration of the assignment.
- Every contractor must supply their own “Smart Phone”.This is needed to gain access to the Organizations network.
