Role Description
We are looking for a full-time Marketing & Content Manager to own day-to-day marketing execution across our three brands.
This is a hands-on, in office role based in North York, ON. It is not a remote-only role and it is not just a social media scheduling role.
The right person will be responsible for creating content, managing social media, supporting marketing campaigns, helping with email marketing, improving website content, creating sales materials, and working with our sales, operations, and leadership teams to identify what should be promoted.
A major part of this role will involve going to event sites, installs, warehouse setups, product launches, and company projects to capture photo and video content. You should be comfortable shooting short-form video, editing reels, writing captions, organizing a content calendar, and turning real events and products into marketing that supports business growth.
Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and managing content across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube Shorts, websites, email campaigns, and sales materials.
The role also includes building marketing campaigns for key business areas such as corporate events, school events, festivals, holiday parties, galas, mitzvahs, brand activations, furniture rentals, decor rentals, and inflatable product launches.
This role requires someone creative, organized, proactive, and commercially minded. The goal is not just to make things look good. The goal is to create visibility, generate qualified inquiries, support sales, and help our companies grow.
Responsibilities
Own and manage the marketing calendar across all three brands.
Create, edit, and publish content for social media, websites, email campaigns, and sales materials.
Visit event sites, installs, warehouse setups, trade shows, and product launches to capture photo and video content.
Shoot and edit short-form video content including reels, behind-the-scenes clips, event recaps, product features, and before-and-after content.
Manage social media posting and engagement across multiple brands.
Help develop and execute campaigns for key products, services, seasons, and customer categories.
Support email marketing campaigns to past clients, planners, schools, municipalities, corporate clients, agencies, and industry buyers.
Help create marketing materials including case studies, lookbooks, product highlights, service guides, event packages, proposal assets, and sales sheets.
Assist with website content updates, galleries, blog posts, landing pages, product descriptions, and SEO-focused content.
Organize and maintain our photo and video library.
Work with sales and operations to identify upcoming events, products, and projects that should be marketed.
Coordinate with outside vendors when needed, including web, SEO, ads, design, photography, and video partners.
Track marketing activity and report on what is being posted, what is performing, what campaigns are running, and what opportunities we should focus on next.
Qualifications
Experience creating, editing,
and publishing short-form video content.
Strong understanding of Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube Shorts.
Strong writing skills for captions, emails, website copy, and basic marketing materials.
Experience with content planning, social media management, digital marketing, and campaign execution.
Comfortable going to event sites across the GTA to capture content.
Comfortable shooting photo and video content using an iPhone, camera, or similar equipment.
Experience using tools such as Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite, Meta Business Suite, email marketing platforms, social scheduling tools, or similar platforms.
Ability to manage multiple brands, projects, and deadlines at once.
Good eye for visuals, branding, composition, storytelling, and detail.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced event workplace.
Experience in events, hospitality, venues, rentals, decor, weddings, corporate events, festivals, brand activations, entertainment, production, or agency work is an asset.
Basic SEO, website content, email marketing, photography, videography, or paid advertising experience is an asset.
Post-secondary education in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Media, Business, or a related field is an asset, but practical experience and a strong portfolio matter more.
Additional Details
Full-time position.
On-site role based in North York, ON, with travel to event sites across the GTA as needed.
Some evening or weekend availability may be required when major events need to be captured.
Performance bonus potential may be available based on execution, consistency, campaign output, lead generation support, and overall marketing contribution.
