Position Overview

We are seeking an organized, proactive, and self-motivated Marketing & Business Development Coordinator to support our growth initiatives.

This is a flexible part-time remote position that combines marketing, LinkedIn content management, lead generation, business development support, and client outreach.

The ideal candidate enjoys building relationships, creating engaging content, and helping small businesses grow.

ResponsibilitiesMarketing & Brand Awareness

- Schedule and publish content on LinkedIn
- Assist with content creation and editing
- Create simple marketing graphics using Canva
- Monitor social media engagement
- Support website content updates
- Coordinate marketing campaigns

Business Development
- Research potential clients and target organizations
- Build and maintain prospect databases
- Send LinkedIn connection requests and outreach messages
- Follow up with prospects
- Track opportunities and sales activities
- Schedule discovery calls and client meetings

Administrative Coordination
- Maintain CRM and sales records
- Organize marketing assets and presentations
- Support proposal preparation
- Prepare weekly activity reports





QualificationsRequired
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Strong communication skills
- Experience using LinkedIn for professional networking
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365
- Ability to work independently
- Experience with AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot or ChatGPT is considered an asset.

Nice to Have
- French language skills (strong asset)
- Experience with Canva
- Experience with B2B marketing
- Experience supporting business development activities
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365, Copilot, or AI solutions
- Experience working with CRM tools

Work Schedule
- Part-time
- 5 to 10 hours per week
- Flexible schedule
- Fully remote

Compensation
- $22 to $35 per hour
- Based on experience and qualifications

What Success Looks Like Within the first 90 days, the successful candidate will help:
- Publish 3 LinkedIn posts per week
- Grow the Straightforward Techno LinkedIn network
- Generate qualified business conversations
- Maintain an organized prospect pipeline
- Increase visibility within the Microsoft 365 and Copilot ecosystem
