The Trade Marketing Specialist will support the implementation and execution of retail trade marketing strategies for Lottery. The role focuses on end-to-end development of creative assets, promotional activities, and operational plans in collaboration with Enterprise Marketing, Key Accounts, Field Sales, and Operations teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute the Lottery trade marketing strategy in alignment with Key Account teams and internal stakeholders.
- Lead development of promotional creative assets, logistical plans, and in-trade activations.
- Act as liaison between creative resources, operations, channel, and Key Account teams.
- Coordinate execution of the Lotto Express retail strategy with Lottery Operations and Field Sales teams.
- Manage Key Account promotional capabilities (calendars, creative assets, spec sheets, etc.) and disseminate key info to stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities to optimize processes within Lottery Ops for seamless execution of promotions.
- Provide insights and recommendations to evolve tactics, improve results, and drive revenue growth.
- Stay current with retail industry trends and share best practices across the organization.
Required Qualifications
- University degree or diploma in business, marketing, or related discipline.
- 3+ years of recent, relevant experience in consumer trade marketing/customer marketing.
- Strong background in marketing, advertising, and branding with a focus on retail marketing.
- CPG experience considered an asset.
- Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.

- Proven experience in agency management (advertising, media, experiential, merchandising).
- Excellent time management and ability to meet tight deadlines.

- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Adobe, and web-based programs.
- Knowledge of BC’s gaming industry is an asset.
