As a Financial Services Risk and Regulatory Advisory, Intern you will play a foundational role in delivering innovative solutions that empower our financial services clients to effectively manage their financial and non-financial risks – while driving superior customer outcomes and achieving their strategic goals. This area represents a critical growth area for our firm, offering you a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of expanding our advisory services during this period of significant change.
Experiences and skills you'll use to solve:
- Enrolled in second or third year of an engineering or business university degree program
- Curious mindset: you question the status quo, probe assumptions and look for better solutions.
- Creative and critical thinker who thinks outside of the box to solve complex regulatory and risk challenges, delivering tailored,
strategic solutions to unique client needs. Client orientation and professionalism — anticipates client needs, manages expectations and presents findings clearly
- Intellectual humility & coachability — accepts feedback, asks for help early, and iterates quickly.
- Ability to organize tasks, communicate clearly, and collaborate with diverse teams to help keep consulting projects on track and deliver high-quality results for clients.
- Interest in financial services, engineering, government or related sectors — relevant experience is a plus but not required.
- Passion for how modern methods and technologies (data, analytics, automation) can improve business operations and risk outcomes.
- Solid grasp of business management, operational efficiency and foundational risk concepts.
- Comfortable conducting research and synthesizing insights from diverse sources and datasets.
- Proficient with Microsoft 365 and open to learning new tools and platforms.
- Rapid learner with a growth mindset and eagerness to acquire new technical and business skills.
- Collaborative team player who builds trust, communicates clearly and contributes to a positive team culture.
- Strong written and verbal communication, with attention to detail and sound analytical and organizational skills.
- Aligned with PwC’s values: act with integrity, make a difference, care, work together and reimagine the possible.
- Authorized to work for PwC in Canada for the duration of the internship and available to travel to Canadian cities as required.
- We'd love it even more if you’re bilingual in English and French, however this isn't a requirement.

- The salary range for this position is $58,000 - $68,000. Eligible employees will also have the opportunity to participate in our performance pay programs which are designed to reward individual and firm-wide achievements. We are committed to offering competitive compensation and adhere to all relevant pay transparency legislation.
