A mechanical designer position is open at a manufacturing company in Montreal’s South Shore. This vital role is centered on designing innovative jigs and fixtures for various manufacturing processes. Reporting to the Methods Specialist, the Mechanical Designer will be involved in all project phases including design, cost evaluation, and creation of technical drawings.

You’ll also engage with manufacturing teams to troubleshoot issues and ensure quality compliance. Your expertise will help optimize product designs and processes significantly. Key Responsibilities:

- Design jigs and fixtures using SolidWorks software
- Create manufacturing drawings for production requirements
- Select materials and components to meet technical standards
- Prepare bills of materials (BOM) for production
- Collaborate with teams to enhance design efficacy Requirements:
