Join a collaborative engineering team focused on developing and optimizing test fixtures and stations that enable production of Ciena’s cutting-edge, vertically integrated Photonic Integrated Circuit (PIC) products.

Develop mechanical fixtures and test stations to enable PIC testing and assembly. Optimize mechanical designs to support production requirements for PIC products. Ensure process integrity during testing and assembly activities.

Create detailed documentation for mechanical fixtures, assemblies, and station layouts. Document testing methods to promote reproducibility and cross‑functional collaboration. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering Proficient with CAD software, preferably Creo or Solidworks Experience with lab measurement techniques and test equipment Ability to create test scripts for data collection and analysis Thermal simulation experience,



preferably with Ansys considered an asset Cleanroom lab experience is an asset Experience in the design of plastic components (injection molding) and metal components (sheet metal, machined, die cast) Non‑Sales employees may be eligible for a discretionary incentive bonus, while Sales employees may be eligible for a sales commission.
