As part of its continued growth, our client is seeking a Mechanical Engineer who wishes to join a dynamic team and contribute to the realization of stimulating projects that will have a tangible impact on tomorrow’s built environment.
Key Responsibilities
As a Mechanical Engineer, you will participate in the entire project lifecycle, from design through commissioning.
- Design and coordinate building mechanical systems, including ventilation, heating, air conditioning, plumbing, piping, and building automation systems;
- Perform engineering calculations required for the sizing of networks, equipment, and mechanical system performance;
- Prepare, review, and approve plans, specifications, details, field surveys, schematics, and technical documentation;
- Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and regulations;
- Collaborate with electrical, structural, architectural, and construction teams to ensure optimal systems integration;
- Participate in site surveys, field visits, and coordination meetings;
- Review shop drawings, change requests, and equivalency proposals;
- Identify technical challenges and recommend solutions aligned with project objectives;
- Mentor and support technicians, Engineers-in-Training (EITs), and other team members;
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of design standards, processes, Revit templates, and technological tools.
Profile Sought
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering;
- Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ);
- Experience in the design of mechanical systems for buildings or infrastructure projects;
- Strong knowledge of applicable Quebec codes and standards;
- Proficiency with design and coordination tools such as Revit;
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and prioritization skills;
- Collaborative mindset, autonomy, and sound professional judgment;
- Natural leadership skills and the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams;
- Strong interest in innovation, continuous improvement, and value-added projects.

Compensation
A compensation package aligned with your responsibilities and experience:
$80,000 to $130,000 , complemented by a comprehensive range of competitive benefits.
