The Estimator is a motivated, organized, and personable individual willing to contribute his/her experience and expertise in the area of estimating. The Estimator prepares quotations based on reviewing construction drawings and specifications and provides support and assistance to his coworkers in a team environment.

Lay out of fire protection systems, including but not limited to: sprinkler systems, standpipe systems, fire pump and special fire suppression systems in accordance with codes.



Produce a quantity take off list of material, labour and other construction factors to produce a cost estimate. Preparation of a detailed quotation letter to send to customer(s) in a competitive situation.

Communication with General Contractors, Engineers, Architects and Owners. Complete site visits to determine existing conditions Meet with clients and build customer relationships Minimum 3 years’ experience in the field Educational background in Fire Protection or similar field is an asset Salary placement within the stated range is determined by evaluating the candidate’s relevant experience, skills, and qualifications, along with internal equity and prevailing market conditions. These factors are applied consistently to support transparent and equitable compensation practices in Ontario.
