Acute Physical Therapist Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans. Educate patients and caregivers on safe movement techniques,



home exercise programs, and discharge planning. Document assessments, progress notes, and treatment outcomes in accordance with hospital and regulatory standards.

Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other rehabilitation professionals to ensure coordinated care. Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and contribute to patient-centered care plans.
