Mental Health & Addictions Nurse North Island Pharmacy Courtenay Positions Available: Full-Time & Part time North Island Pharmacy is looking for compassionate, skilled Mental Health & Addictions Nurses to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll provide meaningful, client-centered care supporting individuals receiving treatment for mental health and substance use disorders — helping improve stability, safety, and quality of life within a supportive community pharmacy setting. We are currently hiring for both full-time and part-time positions, offering flexibility while making a real impact in the community.
If you are passionate about harm reduction, relationship-based care, and working collaboratively to support vulnerable populations, we’d love to hear from you. Monitor client progress, adherence, and overall wellbeing, responding appropriately to clinical or safety concerns Communicate changes in client presentation, missed doses,
or risks to pharmacists and the broader care team Collaborate with pharmacists, physicians, and community partners to support coordinated care planning Connect clients with community and social supports through referrals and resource navigation Practice in accordance with BCCNM standards, professional regulations, and pharmacy policies Current registration as an LPN or RN in good standing with BCCNM Experience in mental health and/or substance use care (preferred) A compassionate, non-judgmental approach to client care Meaningful work supporting community health and recovery Flexible full-time and part-time opportunities A role that combines clinical nursing with community impact Join us in delivering safe, respectful, and evidence-based care that truly makes a difference.
