At the University of Manitoba, what inspires you can change everything. The SSTaRLeT trial (Shorter Regimens for Latent Tuberculosis) is a Phase 2 randomized controlled trial comparing shorter rifamycin-based regimens for tuberculosis preventive therapy against standard 4-month rifampin, conducted at the Manitoba site under Drs. This position exists to support day-to-day trial conduct at the local site — participant recruitment, informed consent, data collection, and study administration — including coordination with SSTaRLeT-affiliated sub‑studies (patient cost and acceptability sub‑studies), ensuring the site meets its enrollment, data quality, and regulatory obligations to the trial sponsor, McGill University.

Bachelor's Degree in a health-related study area, including laboratory analysis techniques.



Completion of a Community College course in a related discipline with one year's = directly-related experience High school completion with job-related options with a minimum of four years = directly related experience. Health field-related diplomas or certificates may be considered.

Experience working within a clinical research environment is required.

Experience consenting research participants is required.

Experience working with Data Capture software preferred. GCP, TCPS-Core, Division 5 and PHIA training preferred. An acceptable equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Demonstrated ability in using computer software related to word processing (e.g.

Microsoft

Office, Outlook) required. Satisfactory clearance of criminal records and child abuse registry checks required. Fluent (writing and speaking) in English is required, Knowledge of French an asset. Why the University of Manitoba?
