The Mental Health

Clinician will provide care to patients in the Outpatient Clinic, Day Hospital and when required the Adult Inpatient Mental Health unit.

Clinician will participate in multidisciplinary rounds and discharge planning as well as liaising with community agencies for services required post discharge.

Clinician should be extremely proficient in leading psychotherapy and psycho educational groups with other professions for, as well as individual psychotherapy as required. The successful incumbent must have extensive experience working with patients who have varying diagnoses and symptoms associated with mental health concerns. ** One (1) Part-time Job Share Mental Health Clinician position to work Monday through Friday, weekends may be required Posted hours do not constitute a guarantee that shifts will not be subject to change. Candidates must be registered with an approved Regulated Health Profession College (Social Work,



Occupational Therapist, Psychotherapy) Master’s degree required Mental Health Act, Healthcare Consent Act, Substitute Decisions Act and Privacy Act.

Excellent mental health assessment skills and ability to conduct and document formal biopsychosocial assessments Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with patients, families, and community-based resources Demonstrates and role models an awareness of and commitment to personal and professional development As part of our commitment to the health and safety of our patients, staff and community from COVID-19, subject to any accommodation required by applicable human rights legislation, Cambridge Memorial Hospital requires that all staff have received all required doses of a COVID-19 vaccine approved by Health Canada.
