Shape the future of mental health care by serving as a dedicated Mental Health Nurse. Contribute to patient rehabilitation, assessment, and education within a team-oriented healthcare team. In this role, you will provide core mental health services as part of a Multi-Disciplinary Rehabilitation Team.
Your focus will be on direct nursing care, developing and implementing client-centered rehabilitation programs, and enhancing patient experiences in rehabilitation or community settings. You will contribute to safety and quality enhancements in all aspects of the position. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care and mental health assessments
- Develop and implement client-centered rehabilitation programs
- Administer psychotropic medications and monitor side effects
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams effectively
- Contribute to safety and quality improvements
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year psychiatric nursing experience required
- Registration as RN or RPN with relevant authority
- Current CPR certification necessary
- Knowledge of Psychosocial Rehabilitation model
- Strong communication and crisis intervention skills
