BayCare Health Systems is currently seeking a Mental Health Technician to join our team at the Behavioral Health Center.

Mental Health Technician Prime Pool Position Details

- Facility: Behavioral Health Center
- Location: Tampa, FL
- Status: Pool, Hourly
- Shift Hours: 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM
- Weekend Work: Every Other
- On Call: No

Responsibilities

- Provide direct patient care to psychiatric inpatients under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse.
- Provide ongoing monitoring and observation of patients to ensure safety and wellbeing.
- Promote communication and therapeutic relationships with patients.
- Assist with physical care under the direction of an RN.

Requirements

- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- High School or Equivalent
- FL Driver's License

Preferred Skills

- Associate's in Healthcare/Psychology
- CNA/PCT

Preferred Experience

- 6 months – Psychology based experience
