Our Distribution Service Centre (DSC) currently has an opportunity for:
Merchandise Handler ECOM
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our E-Commerce Fulfillment team. This role plays an key part in delivering exceptional customer experience by ensuring online orders are processed accurately, efficiently, and on time.
Working within a fast-paced environment, you will collaborate with multiple teams throughout the organization to support order fulfillment operations and help ensure customers receive the products they need. This position provides an excellent opportunity to further develop your operational, logistics, and problem-solving skills while gaining valuable experience with a variety of business systems and processes.
What You’ll Do
- Perform E-Commerce order fulfillment activities while maintaining high standards for accuracy, efficiency, quality assurance, customer service, and cost management.
- Follow up on pending transfers to and from stores to ensure inventory arrives and is processed promptly.
- Work closely with the Assistant Manager and Team Leader, E-Commerce Fulfillment.
- Coordinate with the DSC Technical Specialist, E-Commerce Fulfillment Coordinators, and other fulfillment locations to ensure Special Orders, Pre-Orders, and store-stock orders are completed efficiently.
- Collaborate with Head Office business units, including E-Commerce, Marketing, Retail Operations, and Loss Prevention teams.
- Adapt to changing priorities and support additional operational duties as required.
What You Bring
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize competing responsibilities.
- Knowledge of Kibo (OMS), AS400, Vocollect, Open RSA, and Outlook is an asset.
- Familiarity with Canada Post (EST), Purolator, and UPS systems is an asset.
- Post-secondary education or coursework in Operations, Logistics, Process Management, Business Administration, Information Technology, Practical Instruction, or LEAN methodologies is considered an asset.
- A willingness to work variable shifts and support business requirements.
- A strong desire to learn, develop new skills, and contribute to team success.
Hours of Work
Primarily Dayshift or Afternoons, Monday to Sunday. The status of this position will align with the successful candidate’s current employment status.
