About the Role

Our client is looking for a detail-oriented Merchandising Manager to join their team in Kimberley, focusing on optimizing product placement and presentation for their FMCG brands in retail environments. You will be responsible for developing and implementing effective merchandising strategies that enhance brand visibility, drive sales, and improve shopper experience. This role requires a keen eye for detail, an understanding of retail dynamics, and the ability to work collaboratively with sales and marketing teams to execute plans across the Northern Cape.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and implement strategic merchandising plans for FMCG product categories in retail outlets.
- Ensure optimal product placement, shelf space allocation, and visual presentation to maximize sales and brand impact.
- Conduct regular store visits to assess current merchandising effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with the sales team to execute promotional campaigns and product launches at the point of sale.




- Analyze sales data and market trends to inform merchandising decisions and strategies.
- Develop and maintain merchandising standards and guidelines for field teams.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in merchandising or visual display, preferably within the FMCG industry.
- Strong understanding of retail environments and consumer purchasing behavior.
- Excellent visual merchandising skills and attention to detail.
- Valuable communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to travel within the assigned territory as needed.
