About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Minerals Transport Driver to operate in the Kimberley region. This role requires the safe and efficient transportation of mineral resources, often involving specialized vehicles and adherence to strict safety regulations. The successful candidate will be responsible for timely deliveries to designated sites, ensuring the integrity of the cargo and the safety of operations. This is a critical position within the mining supply chain, demanding reliability and expertise.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate specialized trucks for the transport of mineral ores and related materials.
- Follow designated routes and schedules for deliveries and pickups.
- Ensure all cargo is loaded, secured, and transported according to strict safety protocols.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment.
- Maintain accurate logs of mileage, delivery times, and any incidents.




- Comply with all regulations related to the transport of mining materials.

Requirements

- Valid Code 14 driver's license with relevant endorsements.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience driving heavy-duty vehicles, preferably in mining or related industries.
- Proven experience with the transportation of bulk materials.
- Excellent understanding of safety procedures for handling and transporting minerals.
- Ability to work in demanding conditions and adhere to strict schedules.
- Professional driving permit (PDP).
