Role Description The Moldflow Analyst is a full-time, hybrid role based in Windsor, ON, with flexibility for some work from home. In this role, the analyst performs Moldflow simulations to evaluate part and mold designs, including gate locations, runner layouts, cooling strategies, and cycle times. Day-to-day responsibilities include setting up and running analyses for injection molding processes, interpreting results, identifying potential issues such as warpage and weld lines,
and recommending design modifications.

Analyst collaborates with internal teams and clients to present findings, prepare clear technical reports, and support decision-making throughout the product development cycle.
Qualifications
- Technical simulation skills: Proficiency with Autodesk Moldflow (or equivalent injection molding simulation tools) and experience setting up and interpreting analyses for various molding processes.
- Design and engineering skills: Strong understanding of plastic part design, mold design, and injection molding principles; ability to assess gate locations, runner systems, cooling design, and process parameters.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills: Ability to diagnose warpage, weld line, and fill-related issues, and propose practical design or process changes based on simulation results.
- Communication and documentation skills: Ability to prepare transparent, concise technical reports, present results to clients and cross-functional teams, and explain complex concepts in accessible terms.
- Collaboration and client-facing skills: Comfort working directly with customers, gathering requirements, and supporting consulting or training engagements in a professional manner.
- Education and experience: Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Plastics Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field; prior experience in injection molding, CAE, or FEA is highly beneficial.
