Our financial services client is seeking a Network Analyst III (5+ years) to troubleshoot and manage network performance and capacity within WAN, LAN, Firewalls, and QoS environments

Join a network operations team focused on proactive performance and capacity management across enterprise network infrastructure within a banking environment. This role supports troubleshooting, capacity planning, packet trace analysis, and network optimization across WAN, LAN, Firewalls, SDWAN, and cloud technologies. The position works closely with network architects, engineering teams, and business stakeholders to support ongoing infrastructure growth and operational stability.

This is a backfill chance supporting BAU operations within a team of 5 to 7 members.

Contract, Mississauga, 2 days per week currently, but may go up to 5 days per week.

Must Haves

- 5+ years troubleshooting Network Infrastructure including routers, switches, Datacenter switching, VxLAN, ACI(SDN), load balancers, Firewalls, DNS & DHCP, LAN/WAN circuits, and SDWAN
- Capacity Planning and performance management within high QoS environments




- Hands-on analysis using Extrahop , Riverbed ARX, Netscout Infinistream, and network sniffers for packet trace troubleshooting
- Experience within Large Enterprise environments coordinating with internal and external groups on network initiatives
- Post secondary education in a related discipline

Nice to Have

- CCNP or CCIE certification
- Modeling experience using OPNET
- Scripting automation knowledge
- SQL extraction and data mining experience
- Wireless systems and VoIP capacity planning exposure

Responsibilities

- Monitor network performance and capacity across WAN, LAN, Firewalls, and related infrastructure
- Troubleshoot network performance incidents and analyze packet traces to identify root cause
- Analyze network utilization data and recommend infrastructure changes and upgrades
- Support high priority enterprise incidents related to application and network performance
- Collaborate with network architects and business stakeholders on capacity planning initiatives
- Maintain growth models and projections for network infrastructure planning
- Assess network areas requiring capacity planning including Firewalls, Load Balancers, and international locations
