We are seeking a highly experienced Network Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support Telecom clients. The ideal candidate will possess deep, hands-on expertise across all major telecommunications network pillars — IP Core, Transport, and RAN — and will work closely with our technical, data, and client teams to design network data strategies, identify data sources,

and drive end-to-end network data correlation.

This role requires strong technical depth, the ability to simplify and translate complex network concepts, and excellent client-facing communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

1. Network Architecture & Domain Expertise

- Provide expert-level knowledge across IP Core, Transport, and Radio Access Network (RAN) domains.
- Map out the key network components, systems, OSS/NMS platforms, and data flows for each network pillar.
- Advise on best practices for network data extraction, ingestion, and structuring for analytics platforms or data hubs.

2. Network Data Source Identification & Extraction

- Identify all relevant network data sources (e.g., PM/CM/AM data, counters, alarms, logs, traces, flow records).
- Work with engineering teams to define API access, file formats, data structures, and frequency of availability.
- Assist data engineering teams to extract, validate, and ingest data into the Network Data Hub environment.

3. Network Data Correlation & Use-Case Definition

- Lead the creation of data correlation logic across domains (IP ↔ Transport ↔ RAN).
- Help define priority POV use cases, such as:
- Network performance insights
- Fault correlation
- Congestion analysis
- Cross-domain impact analysis
- Predictive maintenance
- Validate and refine business logic, KPI mapping, and network metrics.

4. POV Build Support

- Work with solution architects and data engineers to design the POV architecture.
- Provide domain guidance for data normalization, modeling,

semantic layers, and feature engineering.
- Conduct iterative reviews of outputs and dashboards to ensure network accuracy and alignment with telco best practices.

5. Client Engagement & Communication

- Participate in client workshops, discovery sessions, and technical deep-dives.
- Communicate complex network concepts in a clear, structured, and business-friendly manner.
- Act as the primary Network SME in all client interactions related to network architecture, data sources, and use cases.

Qualifications & Experience

- 10+ years of experience in telecommunications network engineering, planning, or operations.
- Deep understanding of IP Core, Transport, and RAN technologies (4G/5G).
- Solid familiarity with OSS, NMS, EMS, orchestration platforms, and network monitoring tools.
- Experience working with network-related data (KPI, KQI, alarms, counters, logs, CDRs, PCAP traces, etc.).
- Experience with data ingestion, analytics platforms, or data hubs (nice to have but not required to code).
- Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams (data engineering, analytics, product, AI/ML).
- Excellent client-facing communication, workshop facilitation, and documentation skills.
- Ability to start immediately and support a fast-moving POV delivery timeline.

What’s in it for YOU at Quantiphi?

- Join one of the world’s fastest-growing AI-first digital engineering companies and make a real impact at scale.
- Lead and collaborate with a high-energy team of talented, driven individuals solving complex, meaningful challenges.
- Work with Fortune 500 companies and disruptive innovators in a research-driven environment with 60+ patents.
- Stay ahead of the curve by gaining hands-on experience with cutting-edge AI, ML, data, and cloud technologies while continuously upskilling.
