This casual position calls for a diploma in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant to assist in the construction and programming of communication devices.
You will work both independently and as part of a team, engaging with clients who have special needs. A minimum commitment of 1 to 4 days weekly is required, including short shifts and holiday coverage. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language support to clients
- Implement augmentative/alternative communication systems
- Collaborate with a team and work independently
- Respond to short notice staffing needs
- Effectively support clients with special needs
Requirements:
- Diploma in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SPLA)
- Valid driver's license as required
- Availability for 1-4 days weekly
