Under the supervision of the Game Manager and working closely with the developers, the Lead QA Embedded Tester will conduct comprehensive, hands‑on testing of the game to maintain deep, first‑hand knowledge of the product at all times.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

- Manage and coordinate the outsource testing team: delegate tasks, assign workload, and ensure testing efforts remain aligned with what is currently open to test
- Triage incoming issues from the outsource team, vetting each for quality, accuracy, reproducibility, and scope relevance
- Own the bug database and workflow end‑to‑end, ensuring it always reflects the true state of the product
- Create, maintain, and execute test plans and testing strategies in accordance with project goals and milestone targets
- Monitor test progress and coverage, flagging risks or gaps to Production
- Keep all department and project documentation current, including test plans, coverage reports, and process docs
- Keep Game Manager informed of testing status, blockers, and any scope or quality concerns

Qualifications

- Experience managing or coordinating an outsource QA team, including task delegation and workload distribution
- Strong triage instincts, ability to assess bug quality,



reproducibility, and scope relevance quickly and accurately
- Proven ability to create, maintain, and execute test plans across multiple testing phases
- Hands‑on tester at heart, comfortable owning full game coverage personally, not just overseeing it
- Experience with certification processes is a preferred asset
- Excellent communication skills, able to report testing status, blockers, and risks clearly to Production
- Fluency in English and French (both oral and written) as the role involves frequent interactions and handling documentation for international partners
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to keep documentation, bug databases, and coverage reports current and accurate
- Ability to adapt to production needs and timelines
- Strong knowledge of Jira, Confluence, and TestRail
