: The Registered Nurse will function in a dynamic, multi-disciplinary setting.
Responsibilities include education and preparation of clients (Pediatric and Adult) undergoing a variety of Medical Imaging procedures. The RN will assist the Radiologist/Specialist during procedures and perform direct nursing assessment and care as appropriate to ensure the safety of clients undergoing procedures. The RN will prepare for and respond to fluctuating workloads, unexpected critical situations, and the requirement to work in all modalities of Medical Imaging. The RN will collaborate with all members of the multi-disciplinary team to continually evaluate the clients care and condition while in the Medical Imaging Departments.

Experience
- 1 year recent experience: CCU, Medical Imaging, Operating Room and/or IR.
Education
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)
Other Education and Training
- Basic Cardiac Life Support Certificate (BCLS)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support Certificate (PALS)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certificate (ACLS)
- Nursing diploma is acceptable
- Critical Care Nursing certificate (CCN)

- Skilled in clinical techniques/use of equipment & supplies in IR setting

- In depth knowledge of pharmacology & client reactions to anesthesia
- Knowledge of HIPA
- In depth knowledge of pharmacology & client reactions to Intravenous contrast
