Salary or Pay Band: Pay Band Nurse B $42.040 to $52.440

: The Clinical Coordinator, under the direction of the Manager, is primarily accountable for the system navigation and coordination of patient flow on the nursing unit. This is achieved by the coordinator having an ongoing awareness and involvement in workflow of the unit. Duties include bed management, discharge planning, advocating for the patient/family, identifying supply and equipment needs and assisting with staff scheduling.

Human Resources Exemption: No

Experience

- Minimum 5 years recent acute nursing experience
- 3 years experience in clinical area and/or involve charge nurse coordination

Education

- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)

Other Education and Training

- Nursing diploma is acceptable
- Current BLS/ACLS/CRRT
- Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)
