Ongoing training Personal & Professional Growth Opportunities Benefits and access to our Employee Family Assistance Program Vacation Retirement Savings To be successful as our current NURSE PRACTITIONER, you will: Hold a current registration as a Nurse Practitioner with the College of Nurses of Ontario Experience leading, coaching and mentoring care professionals in a healthcare setting Display a caring and respectful attitude toward our residents, families, and team members Knowledge of relevant policies, procedures, legislation and regulations applicable to the long-term care sector, including the Long-Term Care Homes Act, 2007 and Health & Safety As a new Nurse Practitioner (NP) joining our Village, you will: Support and embrace our resident-centered social culture and be proud to deliver the highest quality of clinical care to our residents. NPs are focused on quality resident care and act as an educator and clinician in developing a multi-disciplinary Village team.
The Nurse
Practitioner will provide a focus on clinical quality improvement outcomes, working with and supporting the inter-disciplinary teams in working towards targets in improvement.
The Nurse
Practitioner will provide support and guidance in completing assessments, ordering, interpreting, and communication diagnostic testing and procedures, provide support for and lead resident centered palliative care services, and participate in the clinical review of Village quality initiatives.
