Salary or Pay Band: Pay Band Nurse Practitioner $52.590 to $62.910

: This Nurse Practitioner (NP) role provides autonomous, evidence-informed care across continuing care, long-term care, primary health care, acute care, urgent care, and emergency settings. The position will report to and work under the direction of a manager in one of the designated program areas. Practicing within Saskatchewan Health Authority policies, CRNS standards, and legislated NP scope, the NP assesses, diagnoses, treats, prescribes, orders and interprets diagnostic tests, performs authorized procedures, and evaluates care for clients with common acute illnesses, stable chronic conditions, urgent and emergent needs, and health promotion priorities as the most responsible provider (MRP).

The NP works collaboratively with clients, families, physicians, multi-disciplinary teams, community partners, and managers to support protected, person-centred, culturally responsive, and coordinated care.

Experience

- Min. 3 years RN exp. in Emergency, Acute, LTC, Continuing Care, Primary Care

Education

- Master's degree in nursing

Licenses

- Valid Class 5 driver's license

Other Education and Training

- Basic Cardiac Life Support Level C Certificate (BCLS)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support Certificate (PALS)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certificate (ACLS)
- Canadian Triage and Acuity Scale (CTAS) training

- Registered/eligible for registration with the CRNS as RN (NP)
