Nutritionist – Program Support (Cook) Job Term: Full-time - 37.5 hours weekly Start Date: As soon as possible 3 Months Probation The Shawanaga First Nation Healing Centre is looking to fill a position as the Nutritionist – Program Support, under the direction of the Executive Director. Preparing nutritious meals for programming/clients. Using various kitchen gadgets and cooking methods.

Ensuring that food items are always fresh before serving. Maintaining a clean/sanitized kitchen and work area. Ensuring utensils and kitchen equipment are left sanitized after each use. Menu planning for programming and events.

Working in compliance with food safety regulations and processes. Grade 12 High School Diploma or equivalent. ~2+ years experience in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field.



~ Culinary School Certification or Diploma considered an asset but is not required. ~ Safe Food Handler certification. ~ Working in an office workplace and kitchen facility. Flexible hours when needed, evenings and weekends.

Interaction with employees, management, community and the public. Operation of a desktop computer. Preference may be given to indigenous candidates with relevant on-reserve employment experience and/ or those with knowledge and understanding of Shawanaga First Nation history and community.

Successful candidates must be able to produce and maintain a clean Criminal Record Check #
