The Occupational Health
Nurse (OHN) role is a full-time temporary position reporting to the Manager of Quality and Safety within the Saskatchewan Health Authority. With at least one year of experience in occupational or public health nursing, you will apply the nursing process to manage and mitigate risks effectively. Excellent communication and administration skills will be critical as you engage with various stakeholders. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and coordinate employee health and safety programs
- Manage risk-related issues and implement solutions
- Provide occupational health screenings and assessments
- Educate employees on health and safety practices
- Maintain records and report on health program effectiveness
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year experience in Occupational Health Nursing
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)
- Occupational Health Nursing Certificate or equivalent qualification
- CPR-HCP certification
- Registered/eligible with the CRNS
