: Reporting to a Manager/Rehabilitation Coordinator, the Senior Occupational Therapist is responsible for the planning, development, organization and delivery of a comprehensive in-clinic and on-road evaluation of an individual's ability to safely operate a motor vehicle.

The Senior

Therapist provides coaching, mentoring and guidance to other therapists, physicians and the community as a whole in relation to medical fitness to drive and the Driver Assessment Program.

The Senior

Therapist must work collaboratively with the SGI Medical Review Unit, SGI Injury Claims, WCB and other agencies in the provision of service. Knowledge of the applicable legislation related to driver licensing and suspension and the duty to report processes in place is required. "Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement"
