As an Occupational Therapist (OT) on our team you are responsible for developing programs that enable individuals to participate, to their fullest level, in activities that occupy their daily lives. Your client-base will consist of children (age 2-18) with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Community-based in Calgary Complete assessments using tools such as standardized tests, criterion or curriculum referenced materials, or checklists Consult to Behaviour Analysts who supervise Applied Behaviour Analysis Programs for Children with ASD and other needs Work collaboratively with the family and other community professionals Collect data and make evidence-based decisions in treatment Supervise students pursuing education in Occupational Therapy Represent OT department in Monarch House by contributing to clinical policies and procedures and other centre-wide visions At least 1 years’ experience working with children with ASD Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapist (OT) Experience and familiarity with assessment tools (standardized tests, etc.) Knowledge of current research and literature in the Occupational Therapist (OT) field What can Monarch House offer you Our training, mentoring and education programs will provide you with opportunities for continued learning, support, and guidance whenever you need it.
