Jacobs has an immediate need for an Entry Level Business Development Coordinator aligned with our Northeast geography (Toronto, Ottawa, Kitchener, London, Montreal or Winnipeg office). The primary focus will be working with Jacobs’ Business Development leadership to input and maintain data in internal reporting tools and systems.
The secondary focus will be collaborating with both Business Development and Technical staff to produce strategically focused, professional-looking internal and external documents and marketing materials. This role gives you the prospect to not only learn but help implement the sales strategy while gaining experience working within many critical sales functions. Searches for RFQ and RFPs on external digital eProcurement platforms, distributing them to internal stakeholders, managing and distributing the subsequent addenda, and uploading the electronic proposal documents back into the eProcurement platform Enters and manages data in multiple tools and systems critical to our sales processes and reporting requirements Provides marketing support to geographic sales team in collaboration with the corporate marketing team by interviewing staff to obtain information and drafting project win or new hire announcements for publication on LinkedIn, Jacobs External Website, as well as other platforms.
Helps coordinate and develop sales documents such as Task Order proposals, including creating content, and requires interfacing with project managers, graphic designers,
and desktop publishing support staff across multiple time zones to deliver content that meets schedule and delivery requirements Uses curiosity and critical thinking skills to read complex documentation, synthesize the data to understand the big picture of what is being requested and then determine the next steps and who to engage to action an outcome. Poofreads and edits technical and non-technical documents for accuracy and consistency. Assists sales leadership with the following routine activities gathering information from staff and drafting internal reports, including collecting and analyzing sales statistics, and developing timelines, tables, graphs for reports, correspondence, and presentations; setting up meetings in Microsoft Teams; and entering information into Microsoft Excel files.
Assists client account managers and sales leads with preparing the following internal documentation project descriptions for sales use; and updating project team members’ master resume. Two or more years of experience, preferably in the Architectural, Engineering, or Construction industry. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple, simultaneous projects, and work under tight deadlines.
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communication, business, or technical fields preferred. Proficiency in Salesforce for data management. Fluency in Microsoft Office and Adobe applications. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
