Role Description The Operations & Programs Manager is a full time, on-site role based in Brampton, ON, responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations and program delivery for Zamar Music Inc. This role manages concert series logistics, program schedules, and resource allocation to ensure smooth execution of performances and community initiatives. The Operations & Programs Manager coordinates with artists, partners, and volunteers, maintains effective communication across teams, and supports budgeting, reporting, and administrative processes.





The role also involves monitoring program outcomes, implementing improvements based on data and feedback, and ensuring alignment with the organization’s mission of cultural diversity, community impact, and artistic excellence. This position works closely with leadership to develop and refine operational procedures and support strategic projects.

Qualifications

- Strong Program Management skills, including planning, implementation, and evaluation of arts or community programs.
- Operations Management experience, with the ability to optimize processes, manage logistics, and coordinate resources.
- Project Management capabilities to oversee timelines, deliverables, and cross-functional initiatives.
- Excellent Communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with artists, partners, volunteers, and community stakeholders.
- Analytical Skills to interpret data, assess program performance, and support evidence-based decision-making.
- Experience in not-for-profit or arts organizations, particularly in music or performance-based environments, is an asset.
- Proficiency with relevant office and project management software; familiarity with budgeting and basic financial tracking.
- Demonstrated commitment to cultural diversity, equity, and inclusive community engagement.
- Post-secondary education in arts administration, business, nonprofit management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
