The Maintenance
Operator will perform general maintenance at the property, in HVAC, building operations, lights/tubes and ballast maintenance, light lenses, ceiling tiles, systems furniture, plumbing maintenance, snow removal and electrical/mechanical maintenance. Respond to tenant and user service calls and complaints as quickly and efficiently as possible. Provide assistance as directed to other building operations staff in the areas of preventative maintenance, electrical maintenance, etc.
Provide maintenance services in the area of plumbing, i.e. fixtures, taps, washers, flush valves, etc. Provide handyman services in the area of general repairs such as flooring, touch-up painting, locks and hardware, ceiling tiles, etc. Perform routine inspection and maintain records on HVAC equipment.
Perform water treatment testing and analysis, adjust and modify chemical feed to ensure proper levels are being maintained. Complete custodial housekeeping tasks in the mechanical/electrical areas. 1-2 years’ experience in general building repairs/operations preferred. 57,750.00 – 63,000.00 CAD per year. Some roles and employees may be eligible for discretionary bonuses, benefits, or other compensation.
