Spark is seeking a motivated & extraordinary Occupational Therapy Assistant.

Our current OTA's caseload is full and we are proactively looking to hire part time for future clients that are onboarding with our OT!

About The Role

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapy Assistant to work with both children and adults in a variety of settings. As part of our team, you will support the delivery of therapeutic interventions, help clients reach their goals, and contribute to the overall development and improvement of their daily lives.

This is an independent contractor role. You will be providing treatment in person and running your own business therefore reports, billing and other non in person duties can be done in your home office/remote.

The owner is available to provide basic business training.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist Occupational Therapists in delivering treatment plans and interventions for both pediatric and adult clients.
- Provide one-on-one support in various settings, including home visits, schools, and community environments.




- Implement therapy programs focused on improving daily living skills, fine motor skills, sensory processing, and more.
- Monitor and document client progress, reporting regularly to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
- Engage with families, caregivers, and clients to offer guidance and support.

Qualifications

- A clear Police Vulnerable Persons Sector Check
- OTA/PTA Diploma
- Completed stage 1 TB Test.
- Hold a valid class “G” driver’s license and have access to a personal vehicle.
- Clean Drivers abstract.
- Access to and ability to use printer/scanner and technology as necessary.
