Maintenance Assistant Assists

Maintenance to keep machines, mechanical equipment, or the structure of the facility clearly and in repair. Performs preventative maintenance onvarious typesof production equipment, including but not limited to horizontal/vertical wire cutters, wrappers, grinders, etc.

Assists Machine

Operators with changeovers, wire setting, Lock Out Tag Out, and other machine maintenance as needed. Use tools ranging from common hand and power tools, such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches, to precision measuring instruments and electrical and electronic testing devices. Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure that machines continue to runsmoothly,building systemsoperateefficiently, or the physical condition of the buildings does not deteriorate.

Assemble,installor repair wiring, electrical and electronic components, pipe systems and plumbing,machineryand equipment. Comply withlegal, environmental,



and safety requirements of the area. Know the environmental aspects of the area and its control.

Know the environmental impacts associated with your activities. Follow all Environmental and Safety policies. Basic technical knowledge of all building systems (electrical,heatingetc.) High school diploma: Position requires the ability to stand, bend, and stretch over extended periods of time during a normal work shift.
