In this role, you’ll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.
Your role and responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced Oracle HCM Payroll Consultant with strong expertise in US Payroll and a foundational understanding of Core HR and Compensation modules. The ideal candidate will possess robust consultative skills and business acumen to effectively integrate Oracle Cloud solutions into client environments and deliver impactful business outcomes.
Required education
Bachelor’s Degree
Required technical and professional expertise
- Provide expert support and implementation services for Oracle Cloud Payroll (US Payroll)
- Leverage knowledge of Core HR and Compensation to support integrated HCM solutions
- Analyze client business requirements and recommend appropriate Oracle Cloud HCM solutions
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to configure and deploy Payroll functionality
- Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot Fast Formulas (mandatory requirement)
- Work with stakeholders to define, refine, and improve business processes
- Ensure system configuration aligns with best practices and compliance standards
- Support testing, training, and user adoption activities during implementation phases
Preferred technical and skilled experience
- Strong expertise in Oracle Cloud Payroll
- Basic understanding of Core HR and Compensation modules
- Hands‑on experience with Fast Formulas (mandatory)
- Excellent communication and consultative skills
- Strong understanding of business processes and ability to align technology with business goals
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment
- Oracle Cloud Certification is desirable
