The Packaging

Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient setup, changeover, operation, and monitoring of packaging equipment to ensure the production of high-quality products. This role plays a critical part in achieving safety, quality, delivery, cost, people, and environmental (SQCDPE) objectives while maintaining compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and food safety standards. Set up and operate packaging machinery, including computerized equipment.

Perform machinery changeovers to support production requirements. Monitor machine performance and conduct quality checks on products and materials. Complete required production and quality documentation accurately.

Verify product codes and packaging specifications to ensure accuracy. Clean and maintain work areas in accordance with GMP and food safety requirements. Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Support achievement of SQCDPE targets through understanding and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs). Cross-train on additional packaging equipment and perform other duties as assigned. Ability to work rotating shifts.

Mechanical aptitude and ability to safely lift up to 30 lbs. Knowledge of computer operations is considered an asset.

Experience operating packaging machinery is preferred. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Successful completion of the required training period.



Willingness to cross-train on multiple packaging equipment platforms.

Operator is part of the Manufacturing Operations team and works closely with production, maintenance, quality, and warehouse teams to ensure efficient packaging operations. This role contributes directly to delivering safe, high-quality products while supporting plant performance goals and continuous improvement initiatives. Compensation Package





- Starting at 25.13 CAD hourly + Bonus eligibility + Hourly Pay Differential for applicable shifts Hiring compensation will be determined based on experience, skill set, education and training, and other organizational needs.
