The nurse will be responsible for providing vaccination during the annual flu campaign from October through December. Working with a customer service oriented team,
you will provide a rewarding patient experience with empathy, discretion and professionalism. Informing patients of the side effects of vaccination Implementing emergency measures, as required Compile and inventory vaccines administered In depth knowledge of current guidelines, practice standards and medical directives Provide quality, safe, compassionate care to all clients Ability to take initiative and demonstrate proactive/preventative approaches to care Bachelor’s degree in nursing Current registration and license in positive standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) Minimum of 3 years nursing experience (private or public sector) Ready to travel to the client site Valid driver’s license and have access to a car Interest in customer service and a corporate work environment Previous experience in primary care or acute care is an asset Computer skills are an asset (EMR, Power Point, Excel, Word) #
