Part-Time Community-Based Personal Support Worker (PSW) for Weekends – Durham The Care Company is a home health care company dedicated to creating A Better Life for Those at Home . We help people stay in their homes for as long as they choose and focus on making each day count. 12‑hour shifts on Saturdays and Sundays. ~ Flexible for day, evening, and overnight shifts preferred. ~ Provide personal care as outlined in clients’ care plans. Offer companionship and light housekeeping.

Assist with activities of daily living, bathing, grooming, linen changes. Help with transfers, ambulation, and exercises. Valid driver’s license and reliable car for daily work. Ability to travel between assignments within designated areas.

Effective verbal and written communication in English. PSW certification from an approved educational institution. Negative TB test completed within the last year.



Valid CPR/First Aid Certificate. COVID vaccination receipts (subject to exemption).

Immunization for measles, rubella, varicella, tetanus, diphtheria, and hepatitis B. Valid criminal record check within the last year. Current/valid Health and Supportive Care Providers Oversight Authority (HSCPOA) Registration an asset.
