We are looking for awesome, self-driven Personal Support Workers to work throughout York Region. Please note, we are only looking to proceed with candidates who have part-time WEEKEND availability and meet the scheduling requirements below. Available for 12-hour shifts on Saturdays AND Sundays (Full and Part-Time Positions available) MUST be available Saturday and Sunday; flexibility for day, evening, and overnight shifts preferred Provide personal care to clients as outlined in their care plans Provide companionship and light housekeeping (whatever it takes to help a person stay at home) Adhere to providing personal care and help clients with their ADLs within the scope of practice for a Personal Support Worker Assist clients in all activities of daily living / hygiene assistance, bathing, grooming, linen changes and so forth Assist clients with transfers,



ambulation and exercises MUST have a valid driver's license and reliable access to a car that can be used for daily work Ability to travel between assignments within designated areas of work; an asset if you can travel to rural/remote areas Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing in English PSW certification from an approved and recognized educational institution or international nursing/doctoral certification Negative TB Test completed within the last year Valid CPR/First Aid Certificate COVID Vaccination Receipts subject to an exemption pursuant to Ontario's Human Rights Code Immunization for measles, rubella, varicella, tetanus, and Diphtheria required; immunization for Hepatitis B strongly urged Valid Criminal Record Check completed within the last year Ability to identify and report client care concerns to Care Coordinators when needed Current/Valid Health and Supportive Care Providers Oversight Authority (HSCPOA) Registration an asset The Care Company can make accommodations/modifications for individuals with disabilities during the hiring and onboarding process.
