Hotel is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Part Time General Maintenance Worker to support the upkeep, safety, and overall condition of the property. This hands-on role is essential to maintaining a comfortable, welcoming setting for our guests and residents. Working closely with the Maintenance Manager, you'll help ensure the hotel operates smoothly by completing preventative maintenance, daily repairs, and routine building care.

If you have experience in building or hotel maintenance and enjoy solving problems, this position offers a great mix of independence, teamwork, and practical technical work.

Basic skills in carpentry and electrical work (assets, but not required). Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Complete general maintenance and repair tasks throughout the property and guest units to ensure all areas remain in excellent condition. Perform preventative maintenance to reduce downtime and prevent larger issues. Assist with carpentry, basic electrical work, and other specialty maintenance tasks as needed.

Maintain the hotel pool, including water testing and balancing, in compliance with Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH) requirements. Collaborate with the Maintenance Manager to troubleshoot issues and plan maintenance priorities.
