About the Role

Our client is seeking a meticulous and experienced Payroll Accountant to manage their payroll operations from their offices in Kimberley. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of all employee payroll, managing payroll-related queries, and ensuring compliance with labor laws and tax regulations. You will work closely with HR and Finance departments to maintain data integrity and process efficiency. The hybrid work model allows for team-oriented interaction within the office and focused work from home.

Key Responsibilities

- Process accurate and timely weekly/bi-weekly/monthly payroll for all employees.
- Ensure correct calculations of wages, salaries, deductions, and taxes.
- Manage payroll reconciliation, including variance analysis and corrections.
- Handle all employee payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with South African payroll legislation,



including PAYE and UIF.
- Prepare and submit payroll-related reports to management and relevant authorities.

Requirements

- Relevant qualification in Accounting or Payroll Administration.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in payroll processing and accounting.
- In-depth knowledge of South African payroll regulations and tax laws.
- Proficiency with payroll software (e.g., Sage VIP, PaySpace) and MS Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
