In this role, you’ll partner closely with the HR team to ensure accurate payroll processing while supporting employees across a variety of HR functions. You’ll support the full-cycle, bi-weekly payroll process for approximately 250 hourly, salaried, and commission-based employees across multiple payrolls.
You’ll maintain payroll records within the HRIS, including new hires, employee changes, leaves, and terminations. You’ll assist with payroll reconciliations, reporting, expense reimbursements, and employee payroll inquiries.
You’ll contribute to HRIS implementation activities, including testing, data validation, and process improvement initiatives. 2+ years of progressive payroll administration experience, including full-cycle payroll ownership. ~ Experience with ADP Workforce Now or another large HRIS/payroll platform. ~ Working knowledge of Canadian payroll legislation, employment standards, and payroll best practices. ~ Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas and data analysis. Macro experience is considered an asset. ~ Experience using a large payroll/HRIS system such as ADP or Ceridian. ~ Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) designation is considered an asset. #
