Full-time or part-time (at least 24 hours per week) Kenneth Gordon Maplewood School (KGMS) is an independent, co-educational school in North Vancouver serving neurodiverse students from Kindergarten through Grade 12. As one of British Columbia’s few designated Special Education Schools, KGMS welcomes students from across the Lower Mainland with learning differences such as dyslexia, ADHD, autism, anxiety, and other diverse learning profiles. We follow the BC Ministry of Education curriculum while adapting and differentiating instruction to meet each student’s individual learning needs.

Guided by Universal Design for Learning principles, our educational approach incorporates experiential learning, inquiry-based instruction, and social-emotional learning.
