Transform the lives of children at Shkagamik-Kwe Health Centre as a Speech and Language Pathologist. Focus intensely on FASD assessments and team-oriented care in a full-time capacity. In this role, you will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide assessments and services for children aged 18 and under.
Your responsibilities will involve creating integrative recommendations and facilitating connections to community resources. A Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology is required, with new graduates welcome to apply under supervision. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments
- Develop effective intervention strategies for clients
- Work with families to enhance child development
- Participate in collaborative service models for Indigenous populations
- Advocate for healthcare access and support services
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Registration with CASLPO
- One year of experience with pediatric assessments preferred
- Knowledge of FNIM culture and values is beneficial
- Valid Ontario driver's license required
