Watson School requires a Permanent Part time (0.5 FTE) Educational Assistant to commence as soon as possible.

Salary and benefits are per the current CUPE Agreement. The hours of work will be full days just on kindergarten days which are every Monday/Wednesday and some Fridays. This position will including diapering as part of the duties.

Duties

- Role of the Educational Assistant as outlined in Role Description
- Providing academic, developmental and social support for students with academic and behavioral issues

Qualifications

- Experienced and demonstrated ability to work effectively with students with academic and behavioral issues




- Strong interpersonal and communication skills are perceived as definite assets in this assignment
- Possess a valid driver's license (so that transportation for students with diverse needs can be accommodated where needed)
