Health, we’re not hoping for a renaissance, we are making it happen. Our Physiotherapists help our patients achieve their maximum range of movement and physical ability. Working with an interdisciplinary team Physiotherapists assist in optimizing the mobility of our patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Permanent Part Time Hours of Work: Available to work rotating shifts on Monday to Friday, Weekends & Statutory Holidays (e.g. 07:00-15:00 and/or 08:00 – 16:00) - subject to change as per Article HRH 2 – Management Rights Location: Humber River Health - Wilson. Occasional cross site coverage at the Reactivation Care Centres (Finch & Church sites) may be required - subject to change as per Article HRH 2 – Management Rights Manager, Fracture Clinic, Plastics and Surgical Outpatient Clinics Hourly Rate:



$40.36 - $56.30 Providing appropriate assessment and treatment of referred patients with acute post-operative orthopedic/surgical conditions, post fractures, and the bundled care patient population (total knees, total hips, total shoulders) within the Outpatient Rehab Clinic. Recording timely workload measurement data.

Works as a member of the health care team. Clinical supervision of Rehabilitation Assistants with the Ontario College of Physiotherapy support personnel standards. Clinical supervision of students, including PT and PTA/OTA students during their clinical placements may be required as needed.

Position may require scheduled weekend work on the Medicine and Surgical programs, and may require occasional cross coverage on inpatients or at the Finch/Church locations in the Reactivation Care Centres as needed. Provision of relief coverage during planned vacation/absences Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Physiotherapy. Current registration in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario.

Previous physiotherapy experience is an asset.

Experience working within the outpatient physiotherapist setting with orthopaedic and bundled care patients preferred. Availability to work during both the week and weekend is an asset for the Casual position. An understanding of equity, diversity, and inclusion principles as they relate to health practices is an asset.
